Our Textile Collection Coveted by Architectural Digest

Throughout the year, the team at Architectural Digest tours the showrooms, stores, fairs and other design events to find the best new products available on the market. Then, each week, they present their favorite on the magazine’s website. We are thrilled to see our new textile collection in collaboration with Brunschwig & Fils on this week’s list!

Our market department shares its favorite shopping finds

Throughout the year, Architectural Digest‘s market department scours showrooms, stores, fairs, and design centers for the best new products on the market and then brings its favorites to AD PRO. From rugs and wallpaper to furniture and lighting, these are the items our editors are eyeing. This week, Market Director Parker Bowie Larson shares her favorites.

Hermès is launching this adorably chic children’s wallpaper called Les Cabanes with designs by Nigel Peake this fall. Nigel’s use of geometric cabins in bright primary colors feels so modern—I would love to see this in a little boy’s room or playroom.

Janus et Cie is known for its weaving, and the new Balou collection is another example of their talent in this craft. The curved silhouette and the smaller 2-seater size allow it to be versatile to different outdoor set-ups—I could see two of these flanking an outdoor fireplace for example.

Brunschwig & Fils is introducing their first designer collaboration (since being acquired by Kravet in 2011) on September 1 with Richard Ouellette and Maxime Vandal of Montreal-based design firm Les Ensembliers. Inspired by their travels, the collection runs the gamut from an Asian-inspired undulating waves pattern to a classical velvet chinoiserie to a revived 1970’s original Brunschwig & Fils floral motif.

Chandelier by Porta Romana

I am loving this new chandelier by Porta Romana. Coming out this fall, the piece is called Rhythm, and it’s reminiscent of a Calder mobile. True to its name, it is so fun and whimsical—it makes me feel like dancing!

Pratesi just launched this stunning new colorway for their iconic Cina print this summer. This sheet set is definitely on my design wish list—can you imagine falling asleep in such a beautiful print every night?

When David Gill Gallery launched Zaha Hadid’s liquid collection furniture, I was smitten. However, this year, they have gone above and beyond by now offering the pieces in bright colors like this blue dining table.
